Bio

Tour de Tête was created by Virginie Berland. After a bachelor's degree in Plastic Arts in 1989, she joined the Christian Chauveau Make-Up School in Paris. Virginie then joined the hair and make-up team of the Opéra Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels in 1992. In this prestigious establishment, she would discover the work of implantation as well as all the stages of preparation of the hair, the laces, the taking of measurements, and the laces foundations which constitute the profession of wig and hairpiece maker.

Rich professional experience

For 30 years, Virginie Berland shared her professional activity among:

• film, television and commercials (over 350 commercials).
• theatre creations.
• wigs and hairpieces workshop.

A flourishing business

Tour de Tête Belgium was created in 2007 and Tour de Tête France followed 10 years later. Today, Virginie no longer goes on set, and instead devotes herself entirely to her activities as a wig and hairpiece maker in her Brussels workshop.
