Tour de Tête was founded by Virginie Berland. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 1989, she joined the Christian Chauveau makeup school in Paris. In 1992, Virginie joined the makeup and hairstyling team at the Royal Opera of La Monnaie in Brussels.

It was at this prestigious institution that she discovered the art of wig and hairpiece making, learning all the steps involved in hair preparation, tulle, casting, caps, and implantation—key elements of the wigmaker and hairpiece specialist craft.

A Rich Professional Experience

For 30 years, Virginie Berland divided her professional activity between: 

• Film, television, and commercial shoots (over 350 spots).
• Theatrical creations. 
• Wig and hairpiece workshop. 

A Thriving Business

Tour de Tête Belgium was founded in 2007, and Tour de Tête France followed 10 years later. Today, Virginie no longer works as a makeup artist; she is fully dedicated to her work as a wigmaker and hairpiece specialist in Uccle, Brussels. She is active in Belgium, France, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, with the possibility of travel.
